Resources for Charities
In recent years the charity sector has suffered a loss of trust following the failures of several big name NGOs and a new awareness of how charities can have a negative impact on the very people they are trying to help.
Yet non-profit humanitarian aid is more important than ever, especially following the Covid-19 pandemic and cuts to foreign aid budgets.
The Conscientious Aid Project seeks to rethink the aid industry by providing a non-profit platform for investors or founders of existing or start-up charities focusing on sanitation and provision of clean water. We aim to help you to help others, in a way that overcomes existing inequalities and accommodates the culture, diversity and the perspective of those that aid is provided for.
Every $1 invested in clean water can yield up to $12 in economic returns in that community. - WHO
